Hello PM, does anyone know 200 mins talk add-on roll over when account suspended? for example, I purchase 200 mins talk add-on but I don't use any mins this month May 11 (renew date), I'll be away out of canada on June 12 so I don't top up my account for next 2 months, when I come back I'll top up my account again at that time my 200 mins talk add-on still active? Thank you everyone.

$10 "10for50talk50text" Plan, 30 days, Limited (50min) Province Talk, Limited (50) Text

$8 Long Distance Add-On (200min Canada/USA Talk)

$15 Long Distance Add-On (400min Canada/USA/International Talk)

$10 Data Add-On (200MB)

$30 Data Add-On (1GB)

With AutoPay your cost would be about $8/month if you stay under 50 minutes ... plus $8+ if you need more minutes ... plus $10+ if you also need some Data ...  monthly cost would depend on your Add-On consumption, you might stretch 200 minutes or 200 MB across many months or you might need to buy multiple Add-Ons each month.  (The Add-Ons are handy "reserves" when you need just a little more, but they're also a terrible deal if you entirely rely on them to provide the basics).

Other low-cost PM options ...

$20 "20for30Days" Plan, 30 days, Unlimited Province Talk, no Text, no Data

$25 "25unlimitedtalk-text" Plan, 30 days, Unlimited Province Talk, Unlimited Text, no Data

$30 "30for500MB-3Gspeed" Plan*, 30 days, Unlimited Canada Talk, Unlimited Text, 500MB 3G Data

* This is promo plan, normally only Unlimited Province Talk

And PM currently has a few other "Limited Time" promos floating around ...

... And of course PM is a Telus brand/subsidiary which uses the Telus network, PM's billing cycles are all based on 30 day increments (not quite "monthly" increments), you can always "Build Your Own Plan", all Plans can qualify for AutoPay Reward ($2 for 30 day, $6 for 90 day), Long Distance and Data Add-Ons rollover across subsequent billing cycles indefinitely until fully used, E911 Service is provided to every active phone number, Caller ID is included on all Talk or Text Plans, Voicemail is included on all Talk Plans, SMS Attachments are included on all Text Plans (and do not consume Data, as measured on PM's billing), Wireless Video Experience Optimization technologies are included on all Data, PM's "3G Data" is actually 4G Data upper-capped at 3Mbps download speed, etc.

@Yiatiohi You can use imessage with Wifi 🙂 but if you’re planning to use with data plan $8 plan is not good enough for you as 1GB add-on cost you $30 bucks. You should choose plan with data. And for plan with data you have unlimited text 🙂

@Yiatiohi Sending iMessages uses your data! Are you sure that $10 plan with Data add-on would be suitable for you. Look into other plans and compare in a long run.

Yup but even so PM $10 plan which can be reduced to $8 seems to be a great deal even with the limited texts as long as one has an iPhone and can use iMessage.

Thanks - Now yet another question -I'm new to PM and trying it out for now before I cancell my Bell service. All seems great on the $10 plan with the $8 voice add on but texting cap at 50 is a bit limited for me -I use iMessage as much as possible but I don't have a data plan. --I looked but could not find a texting add on - is there one hiding somewhere?

There is no text add-on at the moment.  I am sure that as more customers show interest, the folks in the corner offices will be listening.  Smiley Happy

@Yiatiohi YES, add-ons are never expire (until used up), even when your account is suspended, but if you go beyond 90-days of service suspension, your account would be deactivated.

EDIT: Except US Roaming Add-ons, that will expire 10 days after the purchase!

No didn't mean that your not knowledgeable enough - it's just that the answers I read were not definite but most likely or possibly etc. *******************So it's for surre that the extras would roll over even if the plan is not renewed by the due date -- right?

@Yiatiohi So, we are not knowledgeable enough for you? Woman Sad

I'm told that you would not lose the balance of extra minutes even if you miss a month's renewal. Sounds a bit too good to be true because with my Bell prepaid plan you would lose all extras if you don't renew by the due date. I hope someone that knows for surre would confirm.

@Anonymous is correct. Do not worry, it will roll over. Have a safe trip! Woman Happy

@meocon, I'm pretty sure that as long as your account is alive (even if service is suspended), your LD minutes will roll over.  Of course, if you go beyond 90 days in suspension, your account will be closed, and line number lost (plus your LD minutes will be gone also).
