Need help - Activation still pending since 12+hrs for a number porting

Hi,

 

I got my new simcard yesterday and submitted the activation request with porting.

how long will it take? I feel 12+ hrs is way too much.

 

Help on this is highly appreciated.

2 of my friends ported in from fido, both of them only took about 1 hour.

May sound simple, but did you turn off phone and turn back on?

Include the following info in your private message:

  • old carrier account number, exactly as shown on your bill
  • old carrier phone number
  • the name, exactly as shown on your bill
  • an Alternate Phone Number; someone else’s, not your own

Also, try your Chatr SIM. It should work until the port-in completes. DO NOT cancel your Chatr account; that will happen automatically.

sent PM to the moderator.

 

 

@smithdeendra then chatr should be a normal port, no issues there.

 

As for moderators, i tagged one up above @Shazia_K, if you click on her name you can send private message to her.

@smithdeendra  where are you porting from?

@smithdeendra  You should send a private message to the moderators, most likely your port is stuck.

 

THey can help you out.

@smithdeendra Usually takes 1 to 2 hour for complete port, where you will receive a port successful text from PM. You've most likely ran into a port error.
