Happy Grilled Cheese Day everybody, hope you make it a gouda one! Sorry if that pun was cheesy. Oops, we did it again. We apologize; we’ve been jamming out to some R & Brie. Ok, that was the last one.
In honour of today’s holiday, here are four fun facts about grilled cheese sandwiches that you probably never knew:
We all know a grilled cheese sandwich is the ultimate snack and every person has their perfect way to make one. That’s why we’re asking you to share your favourite grilled cheese combination! Are you a bacon and cheddar, or more of a swiss with sun-dried tomatoes? Or maybe you’re a visionary who has cooked up something we’ve never dreamed of. Havarti, truffles, and unicorn tears?
Comment below with your favourite grilled cheese combination by Thursday, April 19th by 12:00pm and three winners will be randomly selected to win a $50 Public Mobile credit. Why are we doing this? Because we think you’re grate. Ok,THAT was the last pun.
No purchase necessary. Contest runs April 12 to April 19. Please read complete Contest Rules in the spoiler below before entering.

@Someone_here, apologies for our delayed response. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As you know, we always post in both languages, however unfortunately missed it that time. We hope this didn’t cause you too much inconvenience. As you have seen, we have corrected that with our latest post. May the force be with you! Have a great weekend!

Thanks @Luddite!
Still not an excuse for PM though 😉 I'd like to know why, since usually most (all?) communications are in both languages...

@Steph_B, my previous question stays unanswered... Why translating every single official communication on this forum, even the one about the "focus group" in Toronto where participants *need* to speak in English, but not this contest?
Anybody, really?
What is so hard about replying to a message...? Even if it's just "Sorry we forgot", or "We have read you message and understand your concern", "Sorry for the inconvenience", or anything really?
(btw, thanks for translating the Star Wars contest)

Tough to pick just one grilled cheese combo, but if I must then my current fav is slices of Balderson 5 year old cheddar and sliced dill pickles in good old white Wonder bread. Butter both sides, fry in trying pan until golden and cheese is melty. Cut in 4 on the diagonal. Mmmmmm

Keep it simple - a classic grilled cheese with texas toast, "cheese" slices (the only valid use for them aside from burgers!) with or without a slice of ham, depending on your preference.

Swiss, Cheddar, Mozza with avocado between each cheese slice.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is pretty good, while sitting down to watch Tom & Chee on Shark Tank or when you get it at your Grandparents House.

A nice simple grilled cheese (two slices white bread, buttered on one side of each piece, grated old cheddar cheese) and a bowl of tomato soup

Grate Grilled Cheese Burger
This recipe is super easy and flexible as a lunch or dinner
Ingredients
4 slices of your favorite bread
4 slices of processed cheese
Butter or margarine for grilling
1 burger patty
2 slices of cooked bacon
Bbq sauce
Toppings you like (I go for 2 lettuce leaves, diced onions and 2 slices of tomato)
First in a frying pan cook your burger patty according to your usual temperature (usually medium heat).. whether it's your own fresh one or a frozen... cook to perfection and put aside
Next prepare the two grilled cheese sandwiches by buttering outside of the bread. On the unbuttered side goes one slice of cheese totaling 2 slices.
Now grill your two sandwiches on medium til very light toasting then remove one.
On the remaining sandwich put one more slice of cheese bacon your cooked burger cheese and on top the other grilled cheese. Cook until golden brown. Remove and carefully open to add bbq sauce and other Toppings on top.
Enjoy with a salad and/or fries.
