you cannot compare Canada with US, a completely different market but I do think Wi-Fi calling would be useful. for Roaming, better to use travel sim as it is much cheaper
yes, we are all using Samsung. I have added her to the contact so it is not a problem for me. but I opened ticket with that so her friends won't see wrong name
