My friend tested his SIM card in my phone yesterday and I received a bunch of his texts. Since I put my own SIM card back in I can't send or receive text messages. I can call out no problem and it says I have good service.Please help!

I purchase US Text & Calling today. I looked in my add ons section and I don't see it there but the money is gone from my credit card and from the add on screen. Now I'm in NYC and my phone is not working. Please help! Bryn

iphone 5.I had iMessage turned off. Just turned it back on to see if it resolves anything.I know I missed texts both from an iphone and from an android phone.
