I really appreciate your help. It is working again, thanks to your suggestion

@maudiemay great that we could assist you. I think that the solution should go to @totalUser . Since the suggestion to switch to 3g was that monikers. Stay safe.

You are an absolute star. Switching to 3G worked. I can now phone out.

I will be saving that info in case I should need it again.

Now I can resume my life. Can't believe how important my phone has become to me.

Thank you for your help.

@maudiemay  Are you on the $10 plan?

@maudiemay

If you go to settings then network, then movie network, then advanced, then preferred networks you sound have options to switch between GSM, 3g and LTE possibly even more combinations, depending on your phone

Dnd wouldn't be the problem, it would never prevent you from making a call

Thank you. You have really given me great info. I'm in the process of following your instructions now and will reply when complete.

@maudiemay  to switch to 3g

Switch between 3G/4G - Motorola Moto E (4th Generation)
  1. Swipe left.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select More.
  4. Select Mobile networks.
  5. Select Preferred network type.

  7. Restart your phone.

If this fails try a network reset and restart your phone if it doesn't automatically do.

e4 - Reset Network Settings
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings. > More.

@maudiemay Did you try restarting phone, using fly mode or lost/stolen feature in self-service? Sometimes, turn off the phone and leaving it for a few mins and then turn on helps.

@maudiemay

Were you by chance playing with Call Barring or Fixed Number Dialing in the phone app ? If so you may have inadvertently set a PIN2 lock code on your SIM. This will allow calls only to a few specific numbers you setup (or none). If you did, and you dont know what PIN2 code you used, you might need to contact Public Mobile moderators to get the PUK (Pin Unlock Disable) code for your SIM to disable it again...

@maudiemay check to see if "do not disturb" is enabled and disable it. try resetting your network settings and restart

Try switching to 3g only and test it

Sounds like you are on lte only

If it works on 3g switch to auto then restart
