I have someone who would like to Activate with Public Mobile, however he just paid his bill with Virgin 5 days ago and is procrastinating porting out to Public Mobile as a result of that.
He would be on the Virgin Post-Paid side, not the Pre-Paid side so I'm curious if it will be anything like Bell if he Ports out before the end of his billing cycle? Will he get a refund from Virgin Plus for all the unused days if he we're to leave them today with 26ish days left in his current cycle with them?
He is currently paying $75 per line for Unlimited Data at Virgin, which is definitely not the Pre-Paid side since I've never seen Virgin Pre-Paid offering Unlimited Data before.. only Post Paid with a credit check. He has 3 lines on the Account all on the $75 Unlimited Plan, he wants to switch them all here for the $45 • 30GB Unlimited Data Plan but wants to make sure he will get a Refund from Virgin before he leaves them, otherwise he will wait till the end of his billing cycle to come and join here.
Thanks.

once you join the hassle free, the free feeling that Public provides- its really hard to go back to the bigger tiers. because you always know exactly what your bill is going to be every month. i tried virgin, fido, and koodo but i alway come back to Public. because it feels like home and a security blanket.

I got a refund when I left Virgin plus (postpaid) but not when left Chat (prepaid).

To determine if your friend will receive a refund for unused days from Virgin Mobile when porting out, they should contact Virgin Mobile's customer service. It's essential to review Virgin Mobile's specific policies on proration and refunds.

🤣 @MetaMorpheusMob ! Your comment made me look again! I don’t have the words! 😂
Edit: I’m sorry @Priority but I don’t think you can get a refund for what you stated in your title! 😬

Update: wondering the same thing for Lucky Mobile Post Paid now as well.

I thought the same thing after posting it. 😆
I'm surprised it didn't trip and end up in the Unmoderated section with that. 😂

Post paid accounts should receive pro-rated refund but pre-paid accounts don't get any refund unless there are exceptional circumstances.
He should ask virgin mobile about refunds though to be safe.
