Good morning, this is not really a question but more of a statement: does anyone notice that most stuff we buy in todays world is total garbage? Not meant to last and not good at all?
Ex(1) appliances ( look shiny and beautiful but not made to last)
(2) boots and clothing ( do I really need to explain ?)
(3) electronics ( constant updates and making what we own obsolete as quickly as possible to make us buy the latest and greatest)
the list goes on and on

Not worry....lounge posts do not yield community counting bravos....thus you will not see a single reply here.

Yup. So drive it into the ground or until it no longer performs its function to your satisfaction to wring out the value of it that you paid for.
This has been a thing for decades. Rich people are rich because they have the resources to maintain being rich and get richer. There's an old term - planned obsolescence.
