The community manager has now acknowledged the sms / iMessage issues facing new activation . And says they are working on a fix . Might be good of them to make an actual announcement so folks can follow the updates in real time on the progress of the fix .

@DSMR1  Yea right as if its a world class leader like Apples  issues . Heard a silly regular suggest same thing . But I’m sure your iPhone worked fine before trying join a tier 3 provider . Com on . But at least PM is aware of the issue and working in a resolve . Best of luck you get a fix shortly

Thank you for the update. I send a direct message to CS_Agent and was told it's an Apple issue and to contact  them 😕

Wish they would provide and eta for a fix as without SMS and iMessage I'll be forced to go back to Rogers. It's been 24 hours since the account was setup and I can't make or receive calls, can't send or receive texts, with PM using Telus' network, you'd think new activations wouldn't cripple their systems.
