Has anyone actually ever received a refund from Freedom for erroneous charges? Three weeks and counting and I receive nothing but them insisting I haven’t provided the necessary information for a refund (I have. Multiple times. It’s in the chats.) and that if I can just be patient, I’ll receive the refund in 3, 5, or 7-10 business days. It’s been over 15. It’s starting to feel like their MO is just hoping I give up and go away.

Having just moved to PM after 9 years with Freedom and having all my 5 lines there, I can only say that I only experienced challenges when facing such situation, and having not been successful in a few attempts, I kind of given up trying. Not to say it is not going to happen in your case, but just sharing my personal experience with them.

Contact freedom and request to speak to the escalations department for your refund request. If you are unhappy with the resolution they offer or they refuse to put you in contact with the escalations department tell them you will file a complaint with the CCTS to resolve the issue. This will usually light a fire under their seats to resolve your "complaint" if not you can then take the next step with the CCTS.
If you want to share the nature of your request here or privately I'm happy to tell you how the wireless code of Canada applies to your situation and how the CCTS complaint process works.
I had a freedom account before I moved to public mobile and have had charges reversed/credited to my account.....so it is possible to get a refund or credit from freedom.

@Tiff41 I’ve have no experience with freedom , but with PM it’s pre paid and no refunds here either unless you were wrongly charged for something
