Port out number

Hi I Port out my number yesterday to lucky mobile, but that new sim card has no service. My public mobile number still works.

I don’t know why anybody would want to go to Lucky Mobile. I was with them for a while and I was always jealous of the promos that public had. I’ve been keeping an eye on public mobile since summer 2022.. Lucky Mobile never has good deals ever during the years that I’ve been with them, as soon as I saw eSIM a few weeks ago with public i jumped ship finally.

Lucky mobile gives their customers 250MB of data every six bill payments as a bonus, so every year that you’re with them you gain half have a gig of data. I tried to ask if the six bill payments thing was on going, but nobody would give me an answer. I just assume that it’s on going, lucky mobile also has a form similar to public but the mods over there and not very helpful

@Siak  If your PM SIM card is still working then that means port was not completed . You need to contact lucky to re start port request for you . But  maybe it’s “sign” stay with public mobile forget unlucky 😉

you ever received a SMS from PM  and you replied YES?

Look like Lucky dropped the ball, I think you should stay with PM, you get better service here

But if you need Lucky, you will need to call them for help.  Porting out is usually all done on the new carrier side

Yes, all support is to be provided by the new provider. This side just needs to be active and leave this sim in a phone to confirm.

The Lucky sim has no service is a problem on Lucky side, you have to contact Lucky.  While you contact them, ask them to retrigger the porting process, then your PM sim will receive a text to ask for your authorization for the port, and you need to reply YES within 90 mins to complete teh process
