Find a cell phone booster that might fit your needs & Carrier requirements: https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=cellular+phone+booster&crid=3HQ84NV6SSGAM&sprefix=cellular+phone+booster%2...
Nowadays as Canadian cell Generations start surpassing, and signal starts to fall, it might be time to soon get equipment for your building. With Cell Phone boosters, you can make calls, texts, and send data without the need of moving. Since the CRTC mandated in 2007 to have government approval and records of auctions of bands, there has been a decreasing cell reception, because Bell, Telus, and Rogers want to grow towers, but cannot due to either a tower is close by or the tower that is getting planned is in a protected area.
Large buildings sometimes have only 1 bar of signal even though the tower is close by or your home has material that blocks signals from entering your home, so that is where Cell phone boosters come into play. You just point the outdoor dish pointing to your closest cell tower from your provider and plug in a local sender in your house that will mostly cover all of your house, with all of the necessary bands, and if it works, you get cell service without dropped calls. There is also versions for cars, but you have to have your phone a couple centimetres close to the indoor sender since the bands are short wavelength.

@hTideGnow - Yes, if you have bad service (Like in Rural highways in the Prairies / mountains) the boosters are better because we usually have 4 bars 4km near the tower & 7km later it is down to 1 bar. It also does depend on what carrier it is because they don't do full network sharing / access. But if Rogers has good service, then I might go with them, but since I am near a Telus Tower, it isn't needed for me.

thanks for the info @fixin
but to me. I think if the service is not working at your prime location, home and work, you really should go with another carrier, why waste money. of course, if for rual area that signal is bad for all carriers, then you have no choice
