I called bell to pay off my balance owing and he said Bell owns Public...that was news to me, I thought it was Telus.

I'm pretty positive it's Telus that owns PM, bought it out probably approx. 8 years ago?

As soon as you transfer numbers bell will keep calling all day to offer you new amazing deals. lol

@HLCIf leaving Bell make sure you keep their SIM card in your phone until you receive a confirmation text from them regarding transferring out your number. You will have 90 minutes to respond Yes. After that, you can remove the Bell SIM and install the PM one testing every 15 minutes or so to see if it's working. It usually takes around an hour or so for the porting to complete but sometimes can take longer

the Bell agent lies. PM is fully owned by Telus. It just Telus (and PM) and Bell has agreement to use each other network

the person was wrong. Telus owns PM and Koodo, Bell owns Virgin and Lucky
