Has anyone else had this experience ? When I respond / reply to a message in the Community Forum, my response message will disappear as soon as I refresh or leave the page. Anyone else ? I won't de surprised if even this message disappears.

@hairbag1  I know, I made the same assumption that they would prefer a customer threatening to leave PM for a non-related competitor to at least stay in the group of companies, but that seems not to be the case.  Another thing I was told, not that I had done it lately, was not to refer customers to the porting team - I had thought we were just not supposed to publicly post the phone number.  Also, if a post does the disappearing act, don't try to repost more or less the same again or it will get flagged as spam.  I had done that on occasions on the assumption the disappearance was a system glitch.  It seems the system looks for keywords being repeated.  What surprises me most is that there is no "three strikes and you're out" system of warnings in place.  You just get cut off without explanation and waste time trying to figure out what happened when there was nothing obviously wrong with the posts.  We should at least be told we have been banned for some inadvertent infraction.  Given that apparently some of my posts were flagged by Oracle/s, it would seem to me only fair for said Oracle to also let one know what one did wrong so it could be avoided in future!

I believe PM does not like (and/or does not allow) posting any competitor's offers. Even though Telus owns PM, PM is still considered competition...
Same as Loblaw and No Frills...

@Phil_Adelphus

I made the same offense as you ie: Telus $100...I had no idea that suggestions to look at the parent company would result in loss of post privileges. Well...we've all learned a lesson.

Well I now have a response from an agent and apparently I have been violating community rules so some posts were removed automatically and some flagged by Oracles.  The only thing I did on the list of offences was post a link to the Telus $100 a year plan, so I guess that's not allowed.  Anyway, I'm asked to make a test post so here it is.

@Meow   In my case the only thing in all caps in the posts that were rejected was LTE and even that wasn't in all of them!  I'm puzzled as to why I can't post at all, I've had the odd post go into the unmoderated rejected folder in the past but now it's all of them.  Pretty sure this will disappear along with the others unless I switch from home wifi to PM data via hotspot from my phone.

And it did disappear.  Why it would reject posts made over wifi and not when using PM data is particularly odd.  It seems PM have no idea either because I'm not getting any response now from customer service.

I noticed that @Meow seems to have had a similar issue this past week although can still post some of the time without the posts ending up rejected for no apparent reason.

Agent trying to assist me regarding my disappearing posts mentioned that 'most likely' it is due using All caps in certain words. He did not comment which words are offending. I never use 'bad' words nor swear or do similar activities.

Sometimes rewording my post it gets posted... Really confusing due to no clear guidelines why posts are not accepted.

On the other hand, I can see some post with words (not all bur some words) in all caps so it is! really confusing....

@hairbag1  You were lucky to get it resolved, I'm still banished unless I use Public Mobile data via hotspot from my phone instead of the home wifi.   There was apparently another escalation as a result of the "spam" post here in The Lounge but still no word on if and when I'll be allowed to post again without using up my cellular data.   Or why I'm being blocked from posting.   I noticed that @Meow seems to have had a similar issue this past week although can still post some of the time without the posts ending up rejected for no apparent reason.

@hairbag1   Still not fixed.  Tried powering router off and then back to see if that would change IP address but that didn't work.  Now trying incognito mode to see if that makes any difference, probably doesn't.

Still no fix, seems they're still working on it.  Trying another post using wifi, powered off router to see if that would change IP address.

@hairbag1  Thanks.  I checked and the first in my series of rejections did include a link but it was to the Telus $100 a year plan page, so not sure why that would be considered spam!  Clearly I'm being blocked on my wifi since using PM data allowed me to post.   Customer support did try to fix it on Friday but the agent was not able to and he escalated the ticket but I have heard nothing since.

Since Friday eh ?....I'd follow-up with a request for progress report on your request. Would have been nice if they hadda let us know ahead of time, that they were gonna suspend our posting privileges..AND...for what reasons.

Good Luck

@hairbag1   This is currently happening to me, although unlike you I have been unable to even post a question in The Lounge since that got marked as spam.  Since last week any posts in the community disappear as in your experience - they go to the unmoderated rejected folder.  You mention a corrupt IP address, not sure if we have the exact same problem but I'm trying this post with my PM data instead of wifi to see if that will make a difference.

I eventually had to get customer support to look into it and they seem to have fixed it. Turns out my posting privileges were suspended as I posted a link to Canadian Cell Supplies and it was escalated as spam. silvio was able to clear the block for me.

@hairbag1  @hTideGnow  How do you identify a corrupt IP address?  My posts yesterday did the vanishing act for no community standards reason.  After I found this thread I rebooted my iPad thinking that may fix it but the same thing is still happening.

@slusagm

thanks to @ hTideGnow, he identified a corrupt IP address issue with my account. Everything is all good now, thanks.
