Toronto and Peel Region have been placed in a lockdown effective Monday, Nov 23 at 12:01 a.m. This means that Toronto and Peel will be under lockdown until at least Dec. 21.
What about in your area?

Why do I have a feeling that Covid-19 will be sticking around for a lot longer than some people may have anticipated or hoped for. All we can do is adhere to the restrictions and encourage others to do the same. We shall see where we are at after the holidays...

BC is not getting better about 600 new every day.

More restrictions for families announced in SK yesterday. Businesses have no new restrictions until boxing day. Restrictions will be reviewed mid-Jan.

If people don't want to follow the rules, things will be worse after Christmas and new year.

I'll also vouch for the flowbee. It has paid for itself many times over. I was sceptical until i used it. As for the covid numbers, they will only get worse if people dont follow the orders. The least you can do is wear a mask in public, 6 feet rule, and stay home as much as you can. This time of year is generally the cold and flu season and with covid puts a new curve to all of this.

I am in BC. What is wrong with people.

Full grey lockdown here; 100% masking outside home; no visitors at all at home. Expect it will last into the new year. Upside, none of our families/friends have been infected. 😥
Not going to a barber until vaccines have made the rounds - partner cuts her own hair and mine. 😁
These seem to be a good sites for comparing how locales are doing. Canada is OK but far from stellar, and could be very bad if the current measures aren't effective within a couple of weeks. Alberta seems headed for a world of hurt.

Saskatchewan has daily updates. Nothing is completely closed. I can still get a haircut. We seem to have at least 1 death and add another 200 or so active cases per day. Masks are mandatory indoors, but there is no enforcement.

Apparently it's meant for grooming pets. But it works just fine on my hair and beard, lol.
Nothing wrong with Flowbee... even Georage Clooney had use it for multiple decades.

I have used one of those Whal hair trimmer for years.
It has paid for itself after four haircuts.
You will get good at it just remember to use the correct size guard too. LOL

Don't forget to put the guard back on for touch ups then you can have the bee's knees. Mixing up the order can result in a different outcome. YMMV

You need something like this. You set your own schedule and will save a ton of $. Snap a guard on and go for it.
I got a hair clipper set a few months ago during the first lockdown. I will continue to cut my hair until COVID-19 is over and safe to go out. No body will see how bad my haircut is. I stay home most of the time. If I go out, I come home quickly.

I guess I should rush to Walmart to buy one of those kits.
Better get there before they close the doors for lockdown, lol.

We are the only province without a no provincial mask mandate.
UPC shutdown kids sports last week.
Casinos , Bars and Shopping Malls and just about everything else is business as usual are still open.
People wear a mask so the Social distancing of the 6 feet ends? That's is one of our problems.
Until we get more cases than Ontario the UPC won't be in the lead for cases, we beat Quebec yesterday.
This is the result of Albertan are not following the UCP directive to obey distancing and no gathering. Wait for tomorrow announcement. I guess that Albertan needs the government to make the decision for them with a big stick.
UCP is between a rock and a hard place. If UCP locks down early, business will complain. If he locks down later, people from the other side will complain.
I am fine either way as I am staying safe and staying home anyway.

@yanzhiqiang you are doing well in BC then.
Ontario is reporting 1,418 new cases of COVID-19 Friday Nov 20, along with eight new deaths related to the virus.
14 million vs 4.8milliom population, new case numbers are proportional. BC is just as bad as Ontario.

Whole Canada will be locked down soon. Government is between a rock and a hard place, just sooner or later...
Either way, businesses will suffer as some people who stay safe and will stay home no matter what government does. On the other hand, people will ignore the lock down and go out as usual.

Don't bother going anywhere in public without a mask. Businesses will basically turn you away or ask you to leave or make you endure the sternly disapproving lecture.

@Korth still BC is doing much better than Ontario. Ontario is reporting 1,418 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, along with eight new deaths related to the virus. Most in Toronto and Peel. I am in Toronto. I skeered. 😓
