Voucher won't submit

@Moderator_Team I am trying to enter my voucher from shopper's drugmart and it keeps saying it isn't valid. Please help me out.

I have bought quite a bit of Canadian Tire gift cards over the years.  Most retailers tell me to wait 48 hours just to be sure that they work, although 24 hours is when they supposedly start working.  I have had a case where it did not work the following day.  A call into Canadian Tire and they were able to push it through.  These things can happen because many computer systems are involved.

Interesting. Maybe some vendors reconcile the terminals overnight or something. As you say it could take awhile for the voucher to be known to PM. Maybe that's what some vendors do.

At least they don't expire. I'm still sitting on one from late May. So maybe not be quite so quick off the draw.

@Raeder13, I think I have seen a few posts about vouchers that were activated by the merchant, but the activation in the Public Mobile system only happened several hours later.  Not sure if this still happens, but it might be.

I would send a private message to the moderator team and ask them to look into it.  If you are lucky, it will simply 'work' if you try again a bit later, before the moderators get to you.

You might want to go back and check with Shoppers to make sure they actually activated it. I'm not sure if you can walk away with a voucher code if it wasn't actually activated but maybe it's like other gift card kind of things where they need to activate them.

Or not.
