I understand the style of Public Mobile being self-serve and using the community for help.

But, having a number for PM customers to call one day a week will leave everyone with a piece of mind.

They way you can cover the cost, is by having a call center to old PM members six days a week, rather than seven.

Believe Me, that won't happen. But, I believe that PM should have that as an Last, Last, Last resort when all else fails

Hi @tylejami335, I would agree with @makkahn28 since the running cost of a call centre is much higher that what you have mentioned, and it will finally increase the fee that the customers need to pay.

I understand that you are probably swapped with the amount of tickets you have to attend. However, as I can see on the discussion forum, you have LOTS of tickets (including mine) that require IMMEDIATE attention! If you cannot solve them all online within a reasonable amount of time, then open a call centre so people could actually resolve their problems ASAP. I'm sick and tired already with posting and posting and posting and not getting ANY reponse! It is not how businesses should be run!

Why not? Im not sure whether or not you (@rockdaddy22) have experienced any problems so far, maybe not. My account has been suspended due to a system glitch and I'll soon loose my phone #. They have not been able to resolve the issue so far (they have not even replied). For these issues, a call center is a must.

As to the cost, a call center should not be necesseraly be located in North America, thus costs can be saved. It is either that or more moderators to answer the posts and resolve problems.

I was without a self serve account for my first few months with PM it sucked. They just don't have time to do it now,was my point. Maybe phone support could be an add on. Like $5 month for phone support. Or something like that.

See, I would not contact them if it was not so urgent. As I told you, I'm about to lose my phone # and my acount due to a glitch in the system. Community forum cannot help me, moderators don't help. What should I do in this case? And I don't think I should pay for this phone call, as it is not something I could have done bymyself, rather it is their mistake.

In normal times these issues get solved in minutes to hours. They're are backlogged at the moment, it's not the norm. Were you around here the past 6 months? If so you know how well it can work.
