Edit: Looks like PM has added this feature in the lastest carrier setting update! Check out @luddite post below for details on how to update to the latest (version 28.3) carrier settings!

This is one of the biggest things I've noticed missing since switching over from Rogers. My iPhone used to be able to handle and group non-iPhone text messages together. Since switching to PM I now end up with multiple, separate, disjointed text messages from group chats I have going that include both iPhone and non-iPhone users.

I'm sure Telus supports this feature and while I am fully aware that PM is meant to be a discount brand it would be great to see this very simple feature supported by PM, too.

Fingers crossed!

I was happy to see this when I just switched my wife and I over from Freedom mobile. It appears that Telus and all sub-brands have this feature now. NOTES: -You need to have the "group messaging" option turned on in your messenger settings for your iphone to do it. -Testing here shows that if you include a Freedom Mobile Android user in the recipient group, they don't see the MMS properly and it breaks the group for them, iPhones on freedom don't have a group messaging option so they can't even participate. -Recipients on the other big3 carriers will have to be on Android for this to work. For some reason Bell/Rogers Android users can group MMS but those carriers continue to have "group messaging" disabled in their iphone device settings profiles that get pushed down. The lack of group messaging on iphone has been an issue since my wife started using an iPhone 4S, I never understood why the US carriers had the functionality enabled but Canadian carriers had it turned off. Great to see that we are finally catching up with 2011 😛
