People already know that they are free to offer/receive help. You have to be the account holder or an authorized person to be able to make changes to the account. So you have to follow what the mods say in this situation and provide the required info about the account holder and provide the verification code they send via sms, etc as they see appropriate. The mods are not free to discuss other people's accounts with you without proper verifications first. This is a non-issue as far as I am concerned.
