First of all, Public Mobile doesn't unlock phones. Second, there's no charge if you switch to Public Mobile. However, you will need to look at your current provider if there are any fees that you need to pay.
Thanks @Kayfun101 , that's exactly what I wanted to know ( what it would cost to unlock my iPhone from public mobile )Ahh that is pricey I sure hope I will like PM so I don't have to switch carries *_* ! Lol Thanks so much for the help !! 🙂
Yea it's 52.50 dollars just did it yesterday and connected my iPhone to iTunes back up phone before you do this do you now how to get the imei number my I ask
@Kashaobk16 unless you bought your phone from Public Mobile (and they haven't sold any for at least a year or two now), then your phone is not locked to PM. I'm not even sure about the ones they used to sell before, if they were locked, but I'm assuming yes. If you have one of those older phones and want to use it on a different carrier, I guess you would need to get it unlocked. I have no idea what PM charges for that, but I'm guessing it probably doesn't apply to you.
PM will only unlock Telus/Koodo phones; NO others. On the other hand, Koodo/Telus phones work on PM without unlocking so jsu wait until you wish to leave.
