I was thinking, what should PM have in regards to Data on 90 Days, from the lightest data user to the heavyweight Data Consumer, and thought of this:

Lightest data user: 750 MB, 1 GB and 1.5 MB

Middle Data user: 3 GB, 5, 6, 7 GB

Heavyweight Data Consumer: 9 GB, 12, 15 and 18 GB.

Some Compromises that makes sense.

For Add-On Data, thought of These:

250 MB, 500 MB, 750 MB, 1 GB, 1.5, 2, 2.5. 3 GB should be considered sufficient for the Add-On Data Consumer

Once again, 1GB best suits the light data user. 3GB falls in the middle of light and middle data users. 6GB for middle data users. And 12GB for heavy data users. The current plans are perfect for middle and heavy data users but not for light data users.

In terms of add-on, i don't think they should offer all those choices. If you're middle data user 6GB is plenty and for heavy data user, 12GB is more than enough. However, in some occasions like travelling or temporarily staying somewhere with no Wi-Fi, getting add-on would make sense. Just for those rare occasion, no point of offering that many flexible choices.

I believe that PM should have variety to choose from, Not a 1 Size all feet fit approach.

PM should consider a variety of different options for Plans and Add-On Plans, my opinion

@makkahn28 personally, I do think the multitude of choices you suggest are just too many.  Keeping the plans (relatively) simple is important.  Right off the bat, I can tell you that PM appears to be focused on the "Middle data user" segment, as you call it, and they feel that is the "sweet spot" in which they can provide the best value.  I think this is fair enough, though I would like to see maybe ONE lighter choice--how about 1.5GB/90, or "approx" a half gig a month?--and one heavier choice--how about 15GB/90, or "approx" 5GB/month--in addition to the existing "middle"/typical choices we have today (3/6GB).   I think this is a more manageable set of options for PM without keeping things to complicated, while still offering *something* for the lighter-than-average and heaver-than-average crowd.  Anyone needing more data per month could either augment with add-ons, or look at plans elsewhere.  Anyone needing less data per month could skip the data component of the plan and just use add-ons as needed.

Which brings me to your massive list of suggested add-ons.  Here's what I'd suggest:  let's simplify it and reduce the price-per-GB of the current add-ons.  How about:

500MB (0.5GB) for $8     [equivalent to $16/GB]

1 GB for $15                    [equivalent to $15/GB]

3 GB for $30                    [equivalent to $10/GB]

Maybe?  Just my thought.
