Might there be a way to offer the US Roaming packages in a usage based format ?  PM could charge a little extra, but then make it so it rolls over just like Canada long distance or Data Addon.

Business Case:   I travel to USA, sometimes for one day, some times longer, but the 10 day block of time is wasted money if purchased but only one day is used.  If I go to the US again in a month, I have to buy another block of time.

In lieu of this rolll over type plan, offer a daily plan (suggested by others) much like Roam Mobility.  https://roammobility.com/plans

@paulie similar to this has definitely been asked for.  I highly doubt you will see any US roaming add-ons that stick around until all the included minutes or KB are used up, as the Canadian add-ons do today.  It's likely too complex to implement this with a roaming partner.  I think the "happy medium" is for them to ovver 24-hour and 72-hour unlimited talk + text with a small bucket of data, to satisfy the day trippers and weekenders among us.  I know I'd be a happy user of those several times a year as well.

@srlawren This is definitely feasible, actually. Public's sister company (Koodo Prepaid) does exactly that and is powered by the same back-end system and user interface:
