Suggestion: Moderator community signatures should include Private Message instructions

Hi PM,

Currently, all the moderators have either exactly or something similar to this as their community signatures that get added to every posting:

* Please do not post private info such as: phone number, account number, pin etc.. This is a public forum.

This is great, but I'd like to see a standardized signature that also includes instructions on how to send them a private message.  For example, please see the italic text at the bottom of all of my community messages (probably including this one--unless the Lab doesn't show them?  I forget).

I think this will increase likelihood of people actually sending their private info via private message instead of just replying.  We see this happen from time to time, including a recent example today.

Update: yes it seems the lab doesn't show signatures, but look at any of my postings in the community for examples.

Seems like Oracles signature looks better than mods. Also add <hr> tad to add a line in between post and signature.

@NDesai yeah that's true too, ideally they would be formatted a little better eh?  But content first, then worry about formatting. 😉

Good idea, @srlawren. I shall finally sit down this evening to make my signature and copy you 2 somewhat. Oracles should have a consistent signature too 😉 I have been meaning to do this for a long time.

Please stop using tiny fonts.... the normal font is hard enough to read.  Italics also don't help.

From a readability view, the italics change the font enough to be confusing for low vision readers.

Note, I'm not sure who's signature I've seen the italics in, but I have seen it.

@stonechucker oh I never considered that, my apologies.  I did that to make the signature stand out from the main posting, but I didn't consider that it might have a negative impact. I'll update it.

@Chaos_Scorpio I know you were trying to be funny, but @stonechucker has a visual impairment that they have mentioned several times in the past. Could you please edit your response, as it is pretty insensitive.

It's a tough world out there, but I've got thick skin.  I can handle the razzing.  I do appreciate your support @srlawren, both for the response to Chaos_Scorpio, and for acknowledging you're support to make things more accessible.

It's difficult to get these small things (no pun intended) across to those who do not understand a world that isn't normal.

I did (I think) bravo this, however if I haven't yet, I meant to last night, and it will be corrected 🙂
