Place a "POST YOUR MESSAGE" link right beside Latest Topics to encourage posting of indiividual threads rather than adding to old ones.

A drop down menu of Community boards could be provided, but not if it delays implementation! For now let mods and Oracles move each to the appropriate board.

The current system actually encourages tacking onto threads. 

BTW: all robot emoticons are reserved for my use.

I give you a big fat wet sloppy bravo for this one, sir! Not that I like discouraging madness, a little madness makes life interesting. But I've seen too many threads (including some of my own) disinterred or hijacked because visitors append their urgent questions/demands onto the first thread they see which has (or had) active input from PM staff members. I'd even go one step further and recommend that all threads should automatically lock after a "Solution Authored" is awarded by the thread creator.
