I know FM has this so I'll suggest it for PM as well.

It would super convenient to be able to setup call forwarding via the Self-Serve Site.

Because the roaming options are pretty limited, if one forgets to setup forwarding to a wifi number/non-PM sim before they leave an area where they have PM service, they are out of luck until they are back in PM territory. This would be rather frustrating if one went to Europe for vacation and only realized once there that they had forgotten to setup forwarding beforehand.

At least in that situation if this were implemented then the forwarding could be set once wifi was available.

Please consider. 🙂

I will bravo my support on this, as I can see the benefit, however I'm not sure whether it would be future option for this carrier.

Interesting idea.

@koimr1 concur, this is definitely a good idea that I hope PM considers.  I don't think it's a huge priority compared to fixing some of the bigger issues (2-step add-on purchase process, renewal "Expired" confusion, etc), but I'd love to see this get addressed after those issues.

I've created duplicate idea at https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Public-Lab/Manage-call-forwarding-from-self-service-o... without noticing this one. Please accumulate all Bravos here, in current topic. Copying here some usage scenarios from that topic when managing call forwarding is important:

1. Subscriber forgot phone somewhere while understanding that later, and it's hard to return for it quickly.

2. Phone lost etc, so it's neccessary to set up call forwarding to different phone number to be able to get important incoming calls there.

3. Phone is available but broken, can't be turned on, battery not working etc so it's not possible to turn it on and manage call forwarding.

4. Roaming: subscriber goes to different country, buys local SIM card there and only then figures out their new temporary local phone number to forward calls to. So far, without roaming, in such case subscriber needs to keep their phone in Canada with someone and ask to set up call forwarding to that temporary local phone number.

5. Cell network issue so phone doesn't see it. Unconditional forwarding can solve this by allowing to get important calls at other number.
