Public Mobile sent me a 75% and a 95% data used text. This was much appreciated but when my data actually finished, I was left in the dark. I only realized when my data stopped working.

 

A message did appear within an android system window which said your data has been turned off for possibly any of one of a list of reasons. It leaves open too many questions.

I guess they could have sent another text message when you have used up all your data. This would be similar to other carriers, where they ask you if you want to top up on some more data in order to save you from data overage charges. However, PM is prepaid, so top up would be your only option.

Good idea as the Android warning will never exactly match the carrier's measurement of data usage... not to mention that IOS has no built-in warning.
