Now that dual SIM cards are getting very common for smartphones, it would a great addition for PM to allow a subscriber to purchase a second line while sharing the same features as the first line. Basically, the second line would just be a second phone number for the same package. Either a one time fee could be charged or a small monthly payment can be implemented. Although, the former would be better. 😉

What do you guys think about this? Thanks for reading.

Sorry, I don't understand the purpose of having a second SIM with the same phone number. If that is your suggestion, I know that is not possible.

@Luddite you got me wrong. A second line means a second phone number that's not the same as the first, obviously. So you can have two phone numbers on the same device sharing the same PM package. I hope that's clear.

OK. Pretty sure PM has already said "Not For Us" as they prefer we sign up for additional accounts.

Methinks, it would be a very poor business model to allow mutiple SIMs access to unlimited calling for just $76/90 days! Robot LOL

Yeah I don't see this becoming very likely.  If you're after calling and texting using a secondary phone number, you might consider signing up for Fongo.  It's a data-based service, so you may need to up your data choice on your PM plan if you don't have some leftover in your plan typically, but fongo calling is free, and their texting I believe is around $2/month.  Then you can make and receive calls and texts using just the 1 PM line, even on a single-SIM phone.

I suspect they will never pool resources but really should have some sort of incentive to keep all lines with PM
