Hi, there,

I got referred to post any new ideas on this area.

I am using Public Mobile for my own small business, so it is important for me to include the cost when I am filing my tax (yes, every cent counts Smiley Happy )

I understand Public Mobile is pre-paid service, but just want to make one suggestion.

When we pay for our service, can we get a quick e-mail / a summary showing the amount of money we pay, the service we pay (for example, 90 days plan), and if possible the hst# of Public Mobile.

We got receipt everyday for anything we pay for, even in a dollar store. Can Publick Mobile at least provide as simple as a Receipt of Payment

Thank you for your time.

Leo

This is a very good idea and i remember actually someone suggesting that PM atleast give out an invoice or something to prove we do have service with them (atleast kind of works like utility bills for an address proof)

May be more people need to ask this feature to get noticed.

Hello!

This topic has been discussed occasionally as people who need an invoice inquire on the Community.  Community manager had instructed them in the past to write a webmail with their request for invoices and for those people, I presume the invoices were made available.

So, I encourage you to follow the "Contact Us" link and send in a request via webmail soon.

I'd like to remind the moderators here that proper sales receipts/invoices are required by Canadian law. The requirements for invoicing differ depending on the purchase amount, however, invoices over $30 must clearly show the GST/HST applicable, and business number.

Its also not very kind to businesses to withhold proper receipts, as they require them to claim the GST/HST paid, and further, may require them if subject to an audit.

I presume that emailed invoices are OK, as other Canadian carriers are doing it.

I completely agree and can't believe this isnt already in place.  I think this may be a breach of law as well. A simple 'download reciept' option can't possible be that difficult to integrate into the site.  Quoting a different users comments...

It's the law that a reciept has to be issued and it MUST display the companies HST number on it.  When will this be put in place?
