It'd be nice if Public Mobile provided their customers with information on the status of their SIM cards when it's being delievered. Like most customers, they have complained about not being given information about when or where their item is (aside from the confirmation message that it'll arrive within 3 to 5 business days). I think providing some sort of information as to where the order is allows customers to anticipate the arrival of their order and quickly resolves any issues that may arise.

I was charged $10 + HST to ship the SIM by Purolator. I would be nice to get the tracking number since one would exist. Anyway, rather than waiting in every day for a courier delivery that I have no idea when will arrive, I went to the local cell phone shop yetserday, paid a few $, and came home and activated it without issue.

I ordered my SIM card on July 7, and today, I discovered that it had only been shipped on July 13. This important information should've been brought to my attention sooner and I wouldn't have known about this had I not asked them. I'm slightly disappointed with this kind of service.

Hmm, I received an email from PM later the same day which reported that my PM SIM card had been sent to Canada Post. Same thing with my (friend's) second PM SIM card, except the email arrived on a Monday, two days later. Perhaps this is something PM already implements, at least in some regions, but it's been disrupted by recent worries over Canada Post?
