I'm visiting for 6 weeks where the WiFi is week. I have a good North America service but need DATA support. The 30 day plan for $10 Cdn would be great support for internet and using my existing Magic Jack number....
If you just need data, select "no talk" and "no text" and desired amount of data on the plan selection page.
A phone number assigned to your public mobile account will not interfere with anything in this scenario because you will not be able to use any calling and texting features. If all you need is data access to use your magic jack service, you should be fine.
You can purchase 1GB of data for $30 per 30 days.
