I think it would help new users who must correspond with moderators to first RECEIVE a private message outlining needed info as well as posting the request in the thread. It is easier to see the little envelope when it has a number in it.

It might also be helpful to have a "How to Get Assistance" article in the Getting Started board that includes a couple of highlighted screen shots.

Good idea. Many new users might not know where to check for PM or wonder at least to find it.

Other forum sites usually have settings that allow you to notify by a pop up saying you have a private message. May be something like this PM can do. As soon as the new private message is sent, and when receiver refreshes the community page, the pop up will tell you that there is a private message. When you click ok, it takes you directly to your inbox.

Yes...help! Very user UNfriendly! Website very difficult & confusing to navigate. Fortunately, no big issues at the moment, but would like to figure this out before I actually have any pressing issues. It was easier to connect with customer support BEFORE all these changes! I recall a contact form that just popped up after selecting 'contact us'.

Tried to follow new instructions & registered in community,  but still cannot figure out how to:

-.find a  'board' to post messages

- how to tag moderators

-.find the list of moderators to private message

- got link for users online off another message. But only discovered by chance that you needed to hold down the user name to bring up the window to message the user. But, only right part of window is visible & cannot be moved!

- no drop down menus to find all of the above

@LW2

-.find a  'board' to post messages

On the left side of the main forum page click the topic the matches your concern and click Start A Topic; for example https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/bd-p/getting_started

- how to tag moderators

@CS_Agent, but if you need their assistance sending them a private message is faster

-.find the list of moderators to private message

Send a your private message here:   message to moderators  for distribution to an available moderator

More info on private messaging: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Knowledge-Base/Private-Messages-viewing-and-creating/...

         Info on moderators: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Knowledge-Base/Updated         -Contacting-our-Commun...

Not sure what you mean. Try posting a question as I outlined in your first question

- no drop down menus to find all of the above

When I click & hold down the user name, such as yours in the above post, a box p

appears, but is off centre to the left, cutting off more than 1/2 the box where the message envelope is! The entire box has only appeared occasionally,

@LW2, if it is a notification of a private message no you can not reply to a private message that way.  You need to come into the forum andreply through your private messages here.  Yes data is nation wide regardless of plan (Provincial/Canada wide)
