Hi @Jeremy_M@David_J@Brooke_C,

It's become apparent that the Public Lab is no longer being even looked at let alone actioned.  I think it is no longer useful to you and you should close it to stop people form wasting their breath posting new ideas here.

Thanks for your consideration!

+1 for that. When we were in BETA, they actually heard us since they wanted some ideas. But now, its pointless if no actions are taken.

I’m pretty sure they don’t even read it, let alone take action

It sure seems like a waste of time these days.  Lots of repitition as well.

@srlawren  like most things in the Public Lab and other common issues/system bugs, this idea will probably not go anywhere  😞

(venting here)...we should be happy that some of us were able to attend the free music fests, something that i'm sure was high in the in the Lab, but cant seem to find the thread 🙂

The lack of activity on items that need to be fixed and have been brought up over and over is really scaring me from referring people here.  I worked at a few places like this when I was younger and things got worse then it was hey we are closing the doors.  I know the mods are very busy but when I first started they were more active in the actual forum now there is even more of them and really see the odd post here and there.  It seems there has been a shift in levels of activity.  It is a very different vibe here now.

@ShawnC13 I know what you mean.  Honestly, I don't think PM is in danger of folding.  Rather, I suspect Telus has greatly restricted the budget and/or access to technical resources (of the human variety) for making actual system fixes for whatever reason.  If, by some chance they are in trouble, the silver lining there is we would not likley be left out in the cold--I would think Telus would fold us into Koodo pre-paid if the unthinkable should happen, with special grandfathered plans or something equivalent or better than what we have today.  That's my expectation and purely speculation though, so don't take it as granted.  Also, again, I really don't anticipate PM going anywhere any time soon, at least at this point in time. EDIT to cc: @NDesai, since you also were replying at the same time.

Exactly my worry.

If you look at some of the old announcements from 2015, you will see a number of PM staff members making posts about many different things. Now, mostly it's either mods or Jeremy_M.

@mimmo agreed--ironically, this will probably get ignored along with all the other ideas that are currently getting ignored.  Very meta, if you ask me!
