PM should establish emailing newsletter to existing users whenever there is a promo plan or news

I'd joined PM since last October and have never received any newsletter or emails about PM's news or promo. I suggest PM will start sending newsletters to users whenever there are news update or promo on so that we won't miss the important updates/promo/issues as a user.

The Annoucements forum is available with an RSS feed under the options menu.  I'm not sure how to set it up, however that would allow you to get all the news whenever an annoucement is made, without having to login to the community.

Unfortunately, I'm not an RSS feed user, so I don't know how to set it up, nor even what software would be available for your use of the RSS feed.

@mikga you're right, if you click on it it does that.  In that case, go to the address bar and copy and paste the url.  In fact, the very same one you pasted in your reply above.  Then paste that into your RSS/Feedly client app.  OR, you could have right-clicked on the link.  I will update the guide, thanks.

I do not use the app, I just login with my computer. I think should let PM know to modify that error page so that we can subscribe RSS feed.

@mikga it's not an error.  What you're seeing when you left-click is the actual contents of the feed that the app will know how to deal with.  I've updated the guide to show you how to do this correctly in a computer browser instead.  Please go back to the guide now and look at step 2.  It's broken down into phone or computer.  Use the computer instructions.  🙂

I'm glad there are many people on this forum who can assist with so many different aspects of Public Mobile.

ive seen these RSS feed before and at one time thought they'd be a good thing for me to get into, however, something else always had or has me distracted from figuring it all out.

Thanks @srlawren for picking up on this where I left off.  It's the weekend now for me, so I may look into this 🙂

When will PM send us notifications - can be via text messages.

@mikga, try the RSS feed again, if you haven't kept it up.  It's almost like getting a message from Public Mobile, without having to look in the forums on a regular basis.

I am in the forums on a daily basis, maybe that's too much for you, but I don't miss the announcements because I visit regularly.

i actually prefer that Public Mobile doesn't spam SMS or email to me.
