This is an idea that stemmed from the conversation here: http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Paying-for-your-service/Invoices/td-p/26945

I think it's important that Public Mobile generates invoices for its customers regardless if it's for business accounts or personal accounts. It's a proper way to account for the services rendered and paid for. I understand that Public Mobile is a prepaid service but I think PM is the only carrier that doesn't generate invoices for their customers. I'm not even talking about paper records, we can just do it all online.

Thoughts?

Bravo @Chicklets That's the way I did it and my accountant partner says is acceptable. I do agree that a detailed annual statement from PM for services I buy would make life easier, especially if I am not allowed to use the Quick Method for HST credit.

But on balance, if this is a necessary requirement I'm hoping PM charges for the work.

I like this idea. Right now it's cumbersome to determine how the amount you were billed was arrived at. If not invoices, then the page that lists the various transactions need to include credits applied from rewards earned in prior months as well.
