Hey! So i was just thinking, I've been getting e-mails from the community lately asking me to accept one of the replies in a recent thread as a solution, but one of the threads I started off as a general discussion/ what I'd learned from a recent experience. I think it would be neat if in addition to the little green checkmarks there was some sort of disclaimer or notification tool showing that athread is not discussing a problem that needs to be solved. In that way, when people are looking through the forums they could differentiate between unsolved issues, solved issues and things that weren't issues to begin with. Just thinking! 🙂

Interesting, but I don't know that I look through the forums differentiating between unsolved, solved and non-issue. If something comes up that answers my question, I don't really care about its status. Since you have the option of marking as a solution, why not mark your own post as it anyway?! Robot LOL

Even a general doscussion will have an "end point/final say" so I would agree with daredogg, just select your own or someone else that had a good comment  as a solution .
