Short notice promos, and even shorter periods to recieve and activate the SIM are huge hurdles.
Ideally, the promo should be a longer period, and those seeking activation should beable to read all the great information already available in the forum(s). I came before any promo was available, when the 90 for 90day plan was the go-to for everyone. I test a 10-day plan and had huge issues as well when trying to activate. I got through them, and then did research to see what I would need to do when I would later sign up permanently, even on just a "regular" plan.
When I came back six months later, plans had just changed, the 90 for 90 was gone 😞 But the new 6GB on 90 day was $120, that was a great deal (I'm in Ontario). I used all my research to get my SIM and plan activated with only a slight hiccup.
