Clarify Different Accounts on PM's 3 Login Pages

As of now, PM requires a separate login for self-serve, the community, and the SIM ordering (Myshopify) pages. If and until these 3 are merged together, PM should definitely put up a note on each of these 3 login pages specifying that the other 2 logins will not work on that page.

This will eliminate a lot of confusion - and will only take one of PM's front end devs a sum total of less than an hour to make the change in all 3 places. This is not a big development decision that PM needs to make, and so there's really no argument in favour of not having it implemented right away.

I agree. BUT, if one has multiple accounts, unless PM permits us to manage all of our accounts under 1 email, then this solution maybe a moot point, to a certain degree

Not a moot point in any scenario. I'm merely suggesting that PM explicitly clarify (through a message on each of the login pages) that these accounts are not connected.

Also, you can definitely (I am) use the same email address for each of the 3 separate accounts...because...wait for it...they're not connected in any way!!

Great idea. Needs to be implemented as soon as possible. It will reduce lot of confusion as well amount of queries regarding logon issues.

Or better yet, why not have the same authentication database linked to all three services? That's a pretty technically trivial change to make, unless they're all administered by a different third-party or some craziness like that (which I still see every so often).

@7789849803 First off, big fan.. Second off, love the idea... But as you said in your second sentence, why not just have them merge all three of the accounts? I know PM sometimes lags on these things but if you submit it as an idea I'm sure people will bravo it to the point that PM can notice. What I mean by all this, is why not edit your idea to have them merge all three accounts, instead of just clarifying which is which. It's not a bathroom sign to determine which gender can use restrooms, it's an authentication system for users. We live in the age of technology and in a progressive society. @kutzki My logic behind suggesting either/or, is because I realize that even though a project may only take a couple hours to implement, it still has to wait behind others that may be higher priority (like bugs). So by making it so it literally would take a developer a few minutes to implement the change, hopefully they'll pick it up for implementation faster. But apparently not 😞
