An option to disable voicemail

i own an iphone and i dont like the voicemail feature. And people kept tryin to leave messages to my voicemail while it is not really activated. Looks like theres nothing the PM can do with turning it off.

You can call your own voice mail and set up an extended absence message under the according menue. If you activate that the system will not allow the person to leave a message.

You should be able to set this up either through the voicemail service or your phone.
