Account administrators

I set up my parents in public mobile, was a pain in the butt because i had to use their email addresses to talk to the rep for putting in issues. I think it would be nice to be able to set up an administrator for an account.

Not all people are able/willing to set up a PM account. My ostentatious wouldn't switch to PM even though it was better for them unless i dealt with it all since they can't just go in to the store and have a rep set it up. But now any time they want to fix a problem it make a change, i have to get them to come over so i can use their email accounts to contact public mobile.

It would be better if they had a joint account which i was administrator for so i could deal with any changes for them.

I do agree.

I believe PM Rep @Igor_M said something about that being something that they're looking into, though not in immediate vicinity, if I'm not mistaken

@Mixam I do empathize with your pain (and that of your parents) with PM's process. But to be perfectly candid: PM's entire business model is that of offering a no-frills approach to mobility.

If we start demanding complex features to fit each individual use-case, and still expect the same prices, then I wonder how far our expectations will meet with the ground reality.

@7789849803, though what you say is correct, I do believe that, there maybe some things that PM can add that can be the tantamount towards PM being a bit grander.

If they did add the manage all under one approach, can be easier, especially if you have to manage lets say 4-up, emails and passwords, well, it can be brain racking, sometimes having certain frills that do make sense, and under the diys scheme, can be quite rewarding as well as a win-win for all, here's hoping PM can balance the frills that are sometimes necessary while separating the frills that maybe considered irrelevant.

I just created my sister's account, I just added her account details to my LastPass.

So if she wants to make changes I just log in and do them.

Maybe this can work for you too.... just my 2 cents.

In my case I setup the father in law using an extra email solely for that purpose. He can't even read/write english so I administer everything for him.

But I understand original idea, to allow authorization to someone else who could be using same account for various reasons.
