The new bug requires more attention than the Future Dated Plan bugs.

Why? Because there is a simple workaround:

1. 2 days before expiry make a 1 time payment equal to the new plan cost less any available funds

2. day before expiry click Change Plan, pick the new plan, click activate now, log out

That's all it takes; wel plus publishing the procedure. Customer loses 1 day of pre-paid service for a no glitch change; Public Mobile gets to concentrate on the new bug. Rewards aren't available but will carry over (I think).

Would prefer to have the system working properly, than to lose a day of service on my current plan to ensure my plan change works.

I guess with the promo, you'd have to contact a mod after to change it.

Or do you suggest not doing it on the promo @Luddite

My suggestion refers to standard plans not promos.

This is a suggestion for PM's tech team not current customers. Rockdaddy has already posted a suggestion for current customers. I did forget though that autopay must be turned off the day of expiry.

This is actually just the reactivation of suspended account procedure.

The issue is, the system knows what you want to go to, and the payment autopay takes is based on what your future dated plan is worth, but it fails to apply the change in plan, after taking the right amount.

Back in September, I had a future dated plan from a 30 day plan, to a 90 day plan.  It took all the funds requested for the 90, but only used 30 day plan value.  I had service, but required the moderator to assist.

Next weekend, I'm going from the 6GB to 12GB promo (same price), but which plan will I get?  Fingers crosssed - I'm paid up for the switch.
