Now that PM has decided to "courier" all requests for SIMs and rebate the charges on activation, why not make it 2 for 1? Based on the stats provided that would improve take up to at least 80%; 1 immediately to recover the courier fee plus 60% of the remainder. Yes, rebate courier fee in full when first SIM is activated.

Implement in two stages:

1) immediately just put two of current single SIM packages into the courier envelope;

2) later modify current packaging to have 2 SIMs with a banner "One for you, one for a friend"; "Une pour vous, une pour un ami".

If Public Mobile is willing to go to the aggravation of managing a rebate programme, I guess those packaged SIMs are more expensive than I thought,. Smiley Sad

Regardless of the method of shipping

Public should give option to order more than 1 SIM card

I complained (loudly) on these boards last year when I put in my order for 3 & only 1 showed up in the mail

If someone has decided to switch it is rare they only have 1 phone in the household

Absolutely agree you should be able to order more than one SIM at a time. It also goes along with being able to manage multiple accounts at the same time. It's a hassle to deal with each account separately.

Love this idea, Luddite!  I've hit my bravo limit at the moment but will try to come back later to up-vote.

I like this idea, however it still has to be less expensive to send multiple SIMs via standard postal service, than by a courier company, in this case, I believe CanadaPost express.

i did Bravo this as it is a great idea.

My wife and I both switched to PM but unfortunately our SIMs were ordered and shipped separately. With whatever registration page I was on, it wasn't clear how to add additional SIMs to the order. Only after I ordered mine, did I figure it out, and then had to order my wife's separately. Sorry PM for costing you more in shipping!

That said, the idea of 2 for 1 wouldn't be needed if your order form made it a bit easier to change quantities. Robot Very Happy

I do like the 2 for 1 idea but not sure it works for "the skin in the game reasoning"  for the $5 charge.

I would rather see  1 for $5 or 2 for $8 option when ordering with a little note saying buy  a second sim to refer a friend or to keep in emergency situations (lost/stolen phone).

I was going to start a new thread but found this one which was similar and thought i woudl add my 2 cents.
