Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ 6043A Compatibility

This phone isn't listed in the compatibility checker - can anyone confirm that it works / doesn't work with PM's network? I'm aware of the GPS issues it suffers.

So that's interesting. The PM compatibility checker allegedly uses willmyphonework. The "3" model isn't on the PM one but it's on the "source" one.

So did they get a database snapshot or do they have an API (or whatever) into their database? This would suggest they merely have a snapshot.

This phone likely will have issues with Public Mobile.

3G bands	HSDPA 900 / 2100

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

• 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
• HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).
