I have two phone numbers that are PM customers. Why can't I transfer the number?

Now I want to cancel a plan and want to transfer the number to another $10 account, but the system prompts that I can't transfer the number.

Unfortunately you cannot transfer your number from PM to PM.
Actually no provider in Canada will do this.

 

If you want to keep PM plan 1, but use the phone number from PM plan 2,
it has to be done in 2 steps.


1. Transfer number from PM plan 2 out to another provider. This will automatically close PM plan 2 account.
2. Transfer number from other provider to PM plan 1.
