Signed up online with PM and got charged by PM & Koodo

I purchased my SIM card from London drugs and signed up seamlessly at home through the Public Mobile website.  The plan I chose was the basic $15/month plan with no add ons.  This is still indicated in my account online.  However, when I received my credit card bill I was charged the $15 from PM and had an additional $15 charge from Koodo.  Is this normal? I'm trying to figure out how to get a refund and to stop further 'Koodo' chargess.

Thanks for the advice.  I wasn’t with Koodo before and it was a brand new SIM that I activated. I actually activated 2 new SIMs within 2 days and this charged occurred for each new SIM.

I have contacted the moderators.

@Koops Did you switch to PM before or after you next billing cycle of your last provider? Was Koodo your last provider?

I read an article regarding this and making sure you time your switch to a new carrier before you next billing cycle so you don't get charged twice, like you see here....

Just a suggestion.

This is not normal. However Telus does own Koodo and Public mobile so maybe they had a processing error.

Have you ever been with Koodo?
