Data does not work

hello,

 tried everything with my LG G5... even factory reset... still have no data... phone and texting working fine...

  • Power off your device completely, then power it back on
  • Make sure you have a network connection (if you have No Service click here)
  • Go to Settings > Mobile Data and make sure Mobile data is checked  and there is no data limit blocking you
  • Go to Settings > More > Mobile networks > Access point names and make sure you have the proper APN settings setup (If you’re unsure what your APN settings should be, simply perform a google search for your Carrier’s APN settings)
  • If you’ve verified and made sure you have the proper APN settings setup, you can try resetting your network settings:
    • Go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Reset Network Settings
    • Tap on Reset Settings       Note: This will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords
    • Reboot your device and test
  • If none of the steps above worked, try contacting your network provider to make sure you have mobile data enabled in your account and you are properly setup for its use
  • If all else fails, perform a factory reset of your LG G5
