Does anybody have the APN settings on hand so I can manually input it? I have an LG phone and would prefer not to do a hard reset.

Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
APN Type: default,mms,supl *
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS/MMSC Proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS/MMSC Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
APN Protocol: IPv4
APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
... leave all other fields blank/empty
APN Type "default" is usually good enough for everything - that's why it's the default - some phones explicitly require "mms" to send/receive msg attachments (because of manufacturer's sloppy operating system implementation), some apps rudely insist on "supl" for location/GPS accuracy (because of devs who use outdated code libraries), best to configure these options if they're available but don't worry too much if your device (software) doesn't support them.

Hi. I tried a factory reset and it still didn't work. Next I googled "Public Mobile apn settings" and the information came up. Hope this helps.

I am supposed to travel to US in a few days, so I have questions about the APN settings.
1. Can I change the APN settings before hand? So as soon as I land there, it will be working.
2. If I do change it before hand, will it affect my service in Canada?
3. Do I need to change the settings once again when I come back to Canada? If yes, what change are those?
Thanks in advance.

Factory reset the phone (setting>general>backup and reset>factory data reset) Don’t forget to take a backup of your contacts and such.

@Dimesntreys, APN settings can be found on this site. For LG phones, there is a network reset function. It does not reset everything, just network related settings.
