why my $19 plan can`t receive text?

I can understand my $19 plan can`t send text. but it used to receive texts .how, now it can`t receive text.

UT 1 or 2 means the number you have called is not in Service

Hey, @yeip911

Because Telus has bought Public Mobile, they have changed a few things here and there. Such as Texting. Now if you have a plan which is "Unlimited Talk" you'll be able to only receive calls and make calls. 

Unfortunatly if you want to be able to receive and send text messages you'll need to add a "Unlimited Text"  Add-on to your existing plan.

I hope that you are now able to understand the reasons why you can't receive any texts messages.

Telus bought Public Mobile. Many changes occurred and plans have changed.

As of now, they do not allow anymore to receive free texts.

I didn't believe the $19 plan was supposed to include texting, I'm on the new plans so I may be mistaken. When looking at promotional materials for the old plans however it doesn't appear to offer the feature;
