voice mail calls fail

My calls to voicemail fail.  I get a "Error performing request.   Unknown Error" message.  It used to work fine.  I made no changes.

@carlmccrosky  - Try restarting your phone, then try accessing it.

If still issues try performing a Reset of your device's Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Iphone:

To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. and enter your passcode.

Your iPhone will reset network settings and restart itself.

android:

Find and tap Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.

@carlmccrosky  Are you on the $10 or $15 plan and all your minutes? Calling voicemail counts against those plans

Check what vmail number is assigned to 'voice mail calls'.

Can you access vmail dialing access number?

Do you access it by dialling a number or just pressing voicemail on your phone?

Try dialing 1-778-580-4001. It's likely that the access number has changed. Can you drill down in your settings to find the voicemail access number currently set up?
