us roaming not working

Help, US roaming not working.  text message not going through

@Mikela14   this could be an issue that your phone is not connecting to T-Mobile.  Please confirm

And can you make calls?

and can you use Mobile data IF you have roaming data as well

@Mikela14   did you just get the Talk and text roaming?  did you buy the data roaming as well?

if you don't have data roaming, make sure you are sending traditional SMS and not iMessage or RCS.  iMessage/RCS both needs mobile data or Wifi to work.  Only tranditional SMS can be sent using Talk & Text roaming without data roaming

And make sure you have T-Mobile connected.  If not, try to use Manual network connection and pick T-Mobile from the list

Did you buy a roaming add-on? Did you receive the welcome to US text? Is this an iphone? Picture text or plain text?

make sure you have Roaming enabled in settings.

Connect to T-Mobile only
