upgrading plan - are remaining funds transferred to new plan?

Hi. I'm going to upgrade from the $15/month plan to the $25/month plan and i have a $50 credit still on my account.  Will i lose the $50 on my account if I upgrade? Or just this month's charge if I upgraded immediately? thanks for the help.  Phil

An immediate upgrade charges the monthly fee (30 days really) immediately so you are only throwing away the remaining days of your old $15 plan. You can schedule an automatic plan change to happen at your renewal but maybe you are out of data or outgoing minutes so want to change now. If out of outgoing minutes the 500 minutes for $5 add-on is a great Deal to solve that problem!

@mpdulong just this months charge if you upgrade immediately. You can use $25 of your $50 credit to pay for the change.
